22nd, December, 2015, Grade 10 monthly examination summing-up meeting was held in the lecture hall of Anqing Foreign Language School. This meeting was chaired by Director Xu Haihong with Grade 10 Department.
The analysis conference consists of three chapters. In Chapter One ‘Commendation’，Director Xu praised top 30 students in the Study-Abroad Class& Opportunity Class, the highest score in each discipline in addition to 35 students who progressed 90 rankings ahead. In the second chapter ‘Facing Reality’，Director Xu pointed out some deficiencies in students’ studies. Moreover, he indicated that some students in the study-abroad class had already been surpassed . He especially gave cautions to 17 students who retrogressed 90 rankings. Last but not the least, Chapter Three ‘Summarization’， Director Xu demanded that all students should explicit learning objectives, correct learning attitudes, perfect learning methods and lay emphasis on persistence, perseverance, foundation as well as accumulation.
Overall, what this analysis conference mentioned the most is the issue of classroom efficiency. To forge efficient classrooms, we are supposed to keep four key words in mind: education, teacher, student and classroom. In the meantime, Anqing Foreign Language School calls upon all Grade 10 teachers to create classroom ethos of briefness, distinctness and tangible core knowledge. Only in this scenario can we make learning happen with the art of education.
